With multiple beaches and islands dotting its coastline, the state draws tens of thousands of visitors every year. If you are planning to visit Goa soon, make sure to check out these breathtaking places to visit in Goa that will provide you with an experience of a lifetime!

North Goa

If you want to see something a little less touristy and a lot more beautiful, North Goa should be your destination. You can find breathtaking waterfalls and lovely local villages here. Agonda is also located here; it’s a small beach with clear waters and local shops for souvenirs. Don’t forget to try some fresh seafood! Palolem beach is located in South Goa and is ideal for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. Siolim has been called one of the most idyllic beaches on earth, so you don’t want to miss it!

South Goa

It is one of South Goa’s prime locations. It is also where you will find some of South Goa’s best beaches. Beach lovers looking for a relaxing holiday should spend their time at Palolem, Colva, Agonda or Patnem beach. If you are looking for beautiful scenery and peaceful seclusion then head out to Assagao or St Inez. But what you need most is a place that offers something for everyone – a place where there are no decisions to make; only option – enjoyment! Head on over to Morjim – you can find great deals on last minute hotels here!

Central Goa

Though it is not a beach and not as popular as other spots on the coast, there are many things worth seeing on your visit. The capital of Panjim features monuments and memorials that date back centuries while Dona Paula has multiple options for beachgoers who prefer their beaches pristine and uncrowded. Not far from here you’ll find Bandora Beach which is still largely undiscovered and therefore less busy than most other options. There’s also Miramar Beach which remains surprisingly free of hotels despite its proximity to large cities like Margao. All four beaches offer activities ranging from swimming, parasailing, jet skiing, banana rides and more!

Dudhsagar Waterfall

Nestled amidst lush greenery, Dudhsagar falls goa cascades from a height of about 556 feet and is undoubtedly one of India’s most enchanting waterfalls. Located near the town of Pernem in North Goa, it is located at a distance of around 21 kilometers from Pernem and can be accessed by driving on State Highway 17. The falls are best visited during monsoon when water levels rise to their peak and make for some breathtaking sights. In fact, locals even say that monsoon clouds bring rain along with them!

Beaches

When most people think of Goa, they imagine lying on a beach. With over 30 beaches within its borders, it’s not hard to understand why. In fact, there are 11 more islands just off its coast. Each beach has something different to offer—some ideal for snorkeling or relaxing under a coconut tree; others great for swimming and partying at night; still others for biking and hiking. Pick one that matches your style, bring a little umbrella-shaded table and chair set with you (the renting shops have them), and spend your day drinking coconut water from freshly picked coconuts while watching palm trees swaying in tropical breezes.

Activities to do

Whether you are planning on going on a sightseeing tour of Goa or spending your time relaxing at a beautiful beach, there are many things that you should do when you visit. Beaches like Baga and Candolim have some of the most beautiful blue waters in India and are home to incredible resorts as well. If you would rather relax, there are some amazing spas where you can get pampered by gorgeous masseuses. Tourists can spend their day looking around historic places like churches, temples, and old Portuguese structures while tourists can also visit markets selling local goods. You can easily see why people flock here year after year because it has something for everyone!

It also happens to be one of most popular underwater adventure sports among Indians as well as international tourists visiting India for tourism purposes.

Adventure Activity – Bungee Jumping

Getting that adrenaline rush while bungee jumping is a truly heart-pounding experience.
